新しい時代の始まり、5Gスタート

ついにスタートした5Gサービスについてお話します。
ついにスマホでの5Gサービスがスタートしました。
しかし「そもそも5Gって何？」恥ずかしながらこれが僕の感想でした。
凄い事らしいのは理解していましたが、あまり調べてなかったので今回は勉強してみました。
すると、「凄い、本当にこんな世界がくるの❕」これが勉強した感想です。
今回は第一回目という事で5Gについてザックリとお話します。

5Gに出来る事
SDL（スマートデバイスリンク）=トヨタをはじめとする国内の自動車メーカーや車載機器メーカーによる、
業界統一規格です。
スマホなどのモバイルデバイスが車載機器と「リンク」し、運転中でもさまざまなアプリを快適に
操作できるようになります。
全ての車がつながると、他の車が撮影した映像や取得したデータを自分の車に活用する事も可能になる。
VRは通信データ量が大きく、またリアルタイム性が必須であるため、5Gならではの利用用途である。
移動通信システムの歴史
1G、1980年代の「アナログ方式」の携帯電話、音声を電波に乗る信号に変換して伝送する事でした。
2G、「デジタル方式」の普及、1999年にはドコモのiモードなどの通話以外の機能も登場しました。これによってメールや写メールも普及しました。
3G、2001年に国際標準として定められた移動通信システムとして登場します。これにより日本の携帯電話が海外でも使用できる様になります。
携帯電話は通話機器だけではなく、いつでも誰とでも繫がる事ができる「プラットホーム」に成長しました。
そして2008年にはソフトバンクから「iPhone 3G」が発売されました。
4G、2012年サービスの開始、これによりスマートフォンの環境は向上し、動画配信サービスなどの大容量のコンテンツの普及が可能になりました。
5G、それではこれから始まる5Gがどんなものか理解していきましょう。
4Gから5Gの進化は技術的な進化ですので、4Gから何が進化したのか3つの事をお話します。
①「高速大容量通信」
②「超信頼・低遅延通信」
③「多数同時接続」
この3点についてお話します。
①「高速大容量通信」
これは今までの移動通信システムにおいて使用が難しかった、高い周波数の電波を使用できる様になったことです。
4Gで利用している電波で最も高いものは2014年に割り当てられた3.5GHz帯です。
これに対して5Gに割り当てられる電波は「サブ6帯」と呼ばれ、3.7GHz帯、4.5GHz帯、そして「ミリ波帯」の28GHz帯になっており4Gより圧倒的に進化しています。
簡単に言うと、今までより大きな電波のかたまりでデータを送信する事が可能になります。
例えれば、新しく大きな道を造り、今までにない大きなトラックで沢山の荷物を運ぶ事です。
②「超信頼・低遅延通信」
5Gの遅延は、4Gの遅延の約10分の1の1ミリ秒です。
これについては「エッジコンピューティング」が可能になる事で説明します。
今まではスマホでネット上のコンテンツにアクセスしダウンロードする場合では
スマホ→基地局→通信事業者のネットワーク（コアネットワーク）→インターネット上のサーバーの流れでアクセスして逆の流れでダウンロードしていました。
これに対してエッジコンピューティングでは
スマホ→基地局→基地局近傍に設置されたサーバー→基地局→スマホと短い通信経路で完結します。
しかし、これを実現するには費用も多くかかりますので、エリア限定のサービスになると考えられます。
そして4Gでは様々な通信が混在していましたが、5Gでは通信の種類ごとの最適化が行われるます。
③「多数同時接続」
これは一つの基地局に大量の端末を収容できる事です。
4Gでは一つの基地局に100台程度の端末が同時にアクセスすると接続ができない事がありました。
5Gでは4Gの100倍になって1万台程度の同時アクセスでも対応できます。
これはスマホ対策だけではなく、近い将来導入されるであろうIOT時代に対するものとも考えられます。
大きくわけてはこの3つが特徴です。
